The anemone or anemolouloudo (windflower): wildflower that is very common in the Greek countryside, it grows mainly in the spring and its life is too short. It took its name from the wind (in greek: anemos), because according to an ancient myth the flower blooms when it is windy, but with the next blowing of the wind it loses its petals and dies.
