The shipwreck of a Turkish vessel carrying 300 refugees close to the shores of Lesbos island, of whom at least 38 are still missing, and dozens of other drowning incidents even of young children, risking their own lives in their attempt to cross the Greek-Turkish border at the eastern Aegean sea, turned once again the world news spotlight on the island of Lesbos.
