In the summer life is easier. The sun and the sea soften the time that pass, the distance from the events of everyday life are lengthened, as the ferry is heading to Agistri island, in Saronic Gulf. There is time only for affirmation, sweet surrender in small, hidden pleasures of summer, in the shady corners between stone alleys and whitewashed backyards, in sun burning the fallen bodies on the beach, in embroidered curtains that capture the light, in the silence of noon on the side of a treeless road.
There will be always a cool breeze at dusk, when you are calm and waiting for the sunset to come, on the porch of your holidays house, or in a tavern by the sea, named TO KYMA, that takes away anxious thoughts and unsolved problems. The present moment fades then and nostalgia softly makes your eyes turn to the horizon.
