Dive into the infinity of time of Orthodoxy, through the lens of Spyros Staveris. Around the 8th century AD, in the edges of the Byzantine empire, in a peninsula of Macedonia, Greece named Mount Athos or Holy Mountain for the Greek people (greek: Agion Oros=Άγιον Όρος) was founded the most important orthodox monastic center of the time and of all subsequent times. Not much have changed since then, neither in the landscape, nor in the people or the power of  faith. It remains even today a spiritual sanctuary, a hermitage of souls. In 1988, Mount Athos was declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site.
