Greek riots of December 2008 had started when a 15 years old student, Alexandros Grigoropoulos was killed by two policemen in Exarcheia, district of central Athens. The murder of young Alexandros by police had as result a violent and destructive reaction by young people mainly. In the beggining there were protests and demonstrations, which hour after hour escalated to widespread riots, with hundreds of rioters damading property, destroying and burning shops, cars, buildings and stealing anything was in front of them, externalizing with incredible rage their discontent for the deadlock in which the dominant modern way of life led them ever since.
