| Caption | Villa of Greece's former dictator Georgios Papadopoulos in Mt Parnitha. Parnitha is a mountain in the north of Athens, Greece. A large part of it constitutes a National Park and belongs to the Natura 2000 network. In 2007 after a catastrophic forest fire the largest part of it was destroyed. Since then anti corrosive and anti flooding works are taking place, in parallel to planting, in an effort to bring life back to the mountain. Athens, Greece, April 2014 |
